(LAC-BOUCHETTE) Divers from the Surete du Quebec out of the water bodies of two men who were in the aircraft during the accident Wednesday in Mirage Lake in Lac-Bouchette.

This is Gino Girard, 40, and Ubald Lavoie, 68, two Bouchettois well known in their communities. The two men had no relationship.

Divers from the SQ began work yesterday morning and around noon they were able to remove the body of the lake Gino Gagnon, the passenger of the aircraft.

Despite very strong winds and the delicate position of the pilot in the cabin, the divers have recovered the second body to 14h. "Strong winds complicated the work of divers. They must take more precautions, so it takes longer." To fetch the second body, the divers had to install floats to lift the wreckage, "says the spokesman for the Surete du Quebec, Helen Nepton.

From Lac-à-la-Truite

According to the police investigation so far, the two friends had taken off from Lac-à-la-Truite. They would have landed 15 minutes later at the Mirage Lake, better known by the name of Lake Lizotte community. "We do not yet know their route. We therefore do not know if they intended to land at Lake Mirage," continues the spokesperson for the SQ.

The cause of reversal remains unknown. Investigators said the Bureau of Transportation Safety Canada, it will be a few weeks to get a clear answer. "There will be a preliminary assessment in Alma, when the unit is out of water. But each piece, engine, gauges, everything must be checked ", said one of the investigators of the Bureau of Transportation Safety, Pierre Gavillet.
